What it measures

The four dimensions here can point in different directions: a real pull alongside a thin picture of who they actually are, or a flat evening with nothing wrong in it anywhere.

Chemistry
The pull, and whether it held up. You'll be asked about your first sight of them, how easily things moved between you, and what physical attraction was doing, including the case where it was there but used in a way that felt off.
Character
How they showed up as a person. It asks about things like the way they treated the server or the barista, how they spoke about an ex, and how much of their actual life, people, work, what fills a week, they let you see.
Red Flags
The caution signs, if any showed up: a conversation that ran like an interview or a monologue, someone noticeably different from their profile, a lot of ambition with nothing current underneath. It records which things came up.
Gut Fit
What your instinct said on the way home. The last question asks for that verdict directly, in the terms you'd actually use with yourself rather than on a rating scale.

Who it is for

Take it when you're home from the date and the second-date question is sitting there unanswered, especially if you're arguing yourself into or out of it, or everyone you've talked to has already handed you an opinion. It won't say whether you're compatible long-term, and it isn't a verdict on how they felt about you. If your question is whether you should be dating at all right now, take Dating Readiness instead; this one is about one evening that already happened, and mostly about them.

What your result looks like

Five results, named plainly rather than gently. They run from a clear yes to a clear no, and the three in between each point at something different to do before you decide.

Promising Spark
What a good first date actually looks like: attraction that isn't running on relief, someone who showed you who they are rather than who they think you want, and a gut read that agrees with your head.
Worth Another Look
Not fireworks, not a fire drill, but the middle zone between them. No electric spark, no meaningful alarm either. What's usually missing is depth rather than chemistry: they stayed on the surface, or you did.
Polite Miss
Nothing was wrong. Nothing was right either, and that is information. Often a genuinely nice person you have no particular reason to be excited about. The pull to keep going anyway usually comes from not wanting to seem shallow or rushed.
Yellow Flag Territory
Not a hard no, but one or two things you noticed are the kind that get louder rather than quieter. You may already be explaining them away, which is ordinary. The result asks you to name the specific thing out loud before you decide.
Walk Away
The bluntest of the five, and usually a confirmation rather than a surprise. What came up here would have registered for any thoughtful person, not only for you. The pull afterwards is to talk yourself back out of what you saw.

How it works

10 questions, about two minutes. Nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay: answer them and your result appears when you finish. A free account shows the detailed breakdown behind it. A membership keeps your results so you can retake the quiz later and see what moved.

How it is used

This is a Self-Reflection quiz. It is answered by you, about you, and it is never sent to a partner. There is no sharing on a result — these are private by design.

What happens to your answers

If you take this quiz without an account, your answers reach our servers only so it can be scored, and are then discarded. Nothing is stored, no profile is created, and we do not try to work out who you are. Your browser keeps an encrypted copy of the result for the rest of your visit, so creating a free account shows you the breakdown without answering again. Close the tab and that copy is gone.

Questions people ask

When should I take it, right after the date or later?
Within a day or two, while the details are still yours rather than the version you've since told. Later still works. You'll just be answering from a story that has been shaped by retelling, and by whatever they have or haven't texted since. That's a different thing to answer from, not a useless one.
Some of the questions don't fit my date. There was no server, and no ex came up.
Those questions each carry an option for exactly that: no one else was around, it never came up, you didn't have enough of a prior impression to compare. Pick it. The quiz is built for one real evening, and real evenings leave gaps.
Why does the last question ask what I thought on the way home?
Because that read arrives before anyone else has weighed in, which is the window the quiz is built for. It comes last on purpose.
What if something on the date felt unsafe or coercive?
Anything that felt unsafe, coercive, or that crossed your consent is a matter for support beyond a quiz: RAINN, 1-800-656-4673 or rainn.org, and the National Domestic Violence Hotline, 1-800-799-7233 or thehotline.org.
